Statement of Expectations

Enrolment at Trafalgar High School carries with it the following expectations:

 

¨ Attending all scheduled classes, year level assemblies, school assemblies and other assemblies as called, being on time and bringing the necessary equipment.

 

¨ Completing set work both in class and at home by the due date and to the best of your ability.

 

¨ Respecting the rights of teachers to teach including the right of teachers to give reasonable directions to students both in and out of the classroom and have them followed.

 

¨ Respecting the rights of other students to learn in an environment free from interference, distraction and any form of harassment.

 

¨ Explaining any absences from school by a note or phone call from parents.

 

¨ Respecting school property and the property of other students.

 

¨ Staying within the school grounds during the school day unless permission is given by the school to leave.

 

¨ Complying with school uniform policy.

 

¨ Being aware of procedures and arrangements in the school as communicated via the Daily Bulletin and in school or level assemblies.

 

¨ Contributing to lunchtime yard duty as required for up to 5 days (all students except Years 11 and 12).

 

¨ Behaving, at all times, in ways that help to promote a positive image of the school.
